TATC Consulting Selected to Evaluate International Technical Assistance Programs

TATC Consulting and its partner, Systems Research and Applications Corporation, have been selected by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management to evaluate the effectiveness of the Bureau of International Labor Affairs’ (ILAB’s) two international technical assistance programs.

The objective of the study is to evaluate the extent to which ILAB’s two principal international technical cooperation programs are achieving their overall program goals of reducing exploitive child labor and protecting the basic rights of workers around the world. A significant amount of data has been collected thus far on project level outcomes; however, the emphasis in this study will be to evaluate program level effectiveness.

Independent, as well as consolidated, reports will be produced assessing the effectiveness and impact of ILAB’s technical assistance programs by evaluating the extent to which they are achieving their respective program goals.
