Etta Williams
Senior Consultant
Etta Williams is a Senior Consultant with TATC Consulting. She has significant logistical planning and implementation skills that support national and regional meetings and conferences. In that role, she coordinates with all stakeholders, assists in design and implementation of registration plans, creates tracking documents, assists in design and development of materials, and provides follow-up support that includes the drafting of meeting summaries and conference reports. In addition she designs, sets-up and staffs exhibits at conferences.
She is currently providing technical support to the Employment and Training Administration’s Summer Youth Program office. These responsibilities include researching, collecting and populating a national clearinghouse on best summer youth program practices, serving as the project’s “green jobs” resource person, planning, facilitating and moderating workshops for two national summits on summer youth employment.
Ms. Williams was the sole support for the Employment and Training Administration Assistant Secretary’s Recognition of Excellence (ROE) effort. The initiative recognized workforce investment programs, projects and initiatives throughout the workforce investment system. Working closely with ETA senior staff, she was responsible for developing the recognition categories, application instructions and guidelines, reviewing, rating and selection processes; vetting selected applications; notifying honorees; preparing for honorees attendance and participation at the Workforce Innovations conference; creating travel reimbursement procedures; producing videos, writing the ROE brochure, and arranging award presentation ceremony for the Assistant Secretary.
She also coordinates the company’s mentoring initiative. These responsibilities involve writing guidelines and instructions for company mentors and mentees, developing and implementing educational and social activities for the participants, managing the scholarship accounts, and working with youth and colleagues in carrying out activities and services for youth mentees, their teachers and families.
Ms. Williams possesses experience and skills in designing and delivering organization development, training, and human resource management products and services. She has designed and conducted career and occupational development programs and built specialized national education and training databases for the general and selected public workforces. She also has provided expertise and training to senior managers, supervisors, and workgroups in the areas of leadership, supervision, communication, interpersonal skills for the workplace, performance management, stress management and time management.
