Workforce Development

TATC Consulting has supported the publicly-funded workforce investment system – at the national, state, and local levels – throughout our corporate history. Our staff includes recognized content experts who assist our clients in the design, administration, and operation of workforce development programs.

We currently support the following workforce-related efforts:

  • Providing technical assistance and staff support to the U.S. Department of Labor's High Growth Job Training Initiative grants
  • Providing business solutions to assist large multi-state employers in connecting with the publicly-funded workforce investment system
  • Providing project support to Career One-Stop and Career Voyages, U.S. Department of Labor-sponsored web sites that include career management and exploration tools
  • Conducting focus groups and facilitating forums and town-hall meetings with the workforce development community to gather input on key workforce issues
  • Providing technical assistance to the 39 sites participating in the Youth Offender grant program
  • Managing Workforce Innovations, the workforce investment community's premier annual conference.

Professional Profile

Ms. McCarthy has devoted her career to the design, development, and management of workforce investment programs. She has applied her skills at all levels (Federal, State, and local) and is an expert in program design and delivery. Currently she provides expert project management services to the Department of Labor’s Division of Foreign Labor Certification, where she oversees the national effort to process over 325,000 permanent foreign labor certification applications over the next two years.
