Step 1
Understand the Impact of the Change
- Develop clear objectives and anticipated outcomes for the change
- Identify the scope of the change – what is/is not going to change
- Assess the impact of the change on:
- Organizational systems
- Technology
- Organizational culture
- Reward systems
- Human capital
- Communication systems
- Policies and procedures
- Identify staff training needs or new staffing requirements
Step 2
Prepare for the Change
- Develop and implement a communication plan
- Provide leadership coaching and training on managing change
- Assess staff skills and ability to work in the new environment
- Develop and deliver training to address skill gaps identified and/or identify new sets of skills needed
- Realign organizational systems to support the change
Step 3
Implement the Change
- Provide leadership coaching and work team facilitation to surface and resolve emerging issues
- Establish tracking systems to measure the impact of the change
Step 4
Assess the Impact of the Change
- Evaluate the impact of the change and assess outcomes from the change
- Make adjustments to the implementation based on the results of the assessment
