Step 1

Understand the Impact of the Change

  • Develop clear objectives and anticipated outcomes for the change
  • Identify the scope of the change – what is/is not going to change
  • Assess the impact of the change on:
    • Organizational systems
    • Technology
    • Organizational culture
    • Reward systems
    • Human capital
    • Communication systems
    • Policies and procedures
  • Identify staff training needs or new staffing requirements

Step 2

Prepare for the Change

  • Develop and implement a communication plan
  • Provide leadership coaching and training on managing change
  • Assess staff skills and ability to work in the new environment
  • Develop and deliver training to address skill gaps identified and/or identify new sets of skills needed
  • Realign organizational systems to support the change

Step 3

Implement the Change

  • Provide leadership coaching and work team facilitation to surface and resolve emerging issues
  • Establish tracking systems to measure the impact of the change

Step 4

Assess the Impact of the Change

  • Evaluate the impact of the change and assess outcomes from the change
  • Make adjustments to the implementation based on the results of the assessment
